My Unpopular Opinion

I would like to share something that I’m very passionate about that many others are not. I believe that Taylor Swift is extremely overrated. This is because of how repetitive and predictable her songs are. All she talks about is how she wants a new guy to be her boyfriend. And you may say, “What about Shake It Off?” That’s one exception to the tons of songs that she writes about her wanting another guy. By listening to the lyrics of her songs that I hear on the radio, she needs to do something else than make 9 year old girls dream about getting a boyfriend in third grade. We get it. You want true love. Now don’t even start to say that the people who listen to her music and enjoy her music (Swifties) are perfectly sane when it comes to my unpopular opinion. All they argue is that her music is simply good. The only solid songs that she has ever had have gone extremely viral. However, most of the rest of her songs are quite honestly, hot garbage. Most people after listening to her hit songs could believe that the rest of her songs are great but when listening to her other songs, I can confidently say that people are very biased on how “good” her music is. And because I am not a member of the Swifty community, I don’t think music is good because of a name. So I strongly recommend you stop listening to Taylor Swift.

Rad Reading – February

Over the course of February, I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney. I really liked this book. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules is about a teenager and his adventures as a middle schooler. In this book, Greg, the main character does something super embarrassing in front of his older brother Rodrick. Rodrick then uses this to get Greg to do a lot of things for him. One of my favorite things about this book is how it really helps me know what’s going on by doing small sketches to show what is going on.
My favorite character in this book is Rowley. This is because it’s super funny how he isn’t very grown up and doesn’t act his age all. A quote to prove this is when Rowley makes friends with a couple of girls. Greg describes their activities as “They just whisper and giggle like a bunch of first-graders.” This proves that Rowley doesn’t act his age because even Greg says that he is like a first-grader. Personally, I find this really funny.

My favorite quote of this book is when Rodrick had told everyone about the embarrassing thing that happened to Greg. However, when it had been spread to people, “by the time the word spread around, all the details got totally messed up.” This is my favorite quote because I was relieved that Greg didn’t have to deal with him clearing up the gossip and he could go about his daily life.

Invisibility Venture

I have been made invisible by a strange genie hiding in my closet! He made me invisible for twenty-four hours so I should make my time worth it. The first thing I would do is mess with my brother by making his things levitate. I would do this because it is funny and he would be frightened until I revealed myself. Next, I would go to school and I would act all normal but disappear every once in a while and then scare my friends for the same reason I scared my brother. After school, I bike home as an invisible person. This would freak out a lot of people and it would be absolutely hilarious to see the look on people’s face in utter disbelief. After that, I would take a bunch of videos of me being invisible and doing funny things and posting them on instagram. I would probably go viral after posting those videos. Following that, I would probably go about my regular day by playing video games and helping out with dinner. And of course, I would take lots of photo’s to make sure that the time I became invisible was never forgotten. Finally, the last thing I would do is set the genie free from my closet so he can experience the real world.
